Christmas Time at Toronto

Now the Holiday seasons are on!! The christmas is more like Diwali for Indians especially North Indians and like Ganesh Puja to South Indians. Many places are decorated with mini blulbs and alot of lighting which resembles of Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi festivals.

Christmas is an exciting festival for local people here because of annual local shopping event provides alot of dirt cheap good deals, exciting times to travel to family members, Celebrate holidays at Skating , winter resorts and celebrate Christmas. It is obvious to me that Christmas here is biggest festival.

For Torontonians, I think it is more fascinating in a way that following Christmas comes Boxing Day, when you can get many good deals at many stores here. Some stores prolong the Boxing Day sale event till new year.

The key to get good deals are to keep on looking for the great deals and flyers on some of these retails stores if you are in this part of world. You can get some really cool deals, you just need to keep your eyes and ear open.

Officially, the Christmas festival at Toronto start from last week of Novemeber, which usually starts from Santa Clause Parade followed by Cavalcade of lights at Nathan Phillip Square at downtown Toronto followed by many similar light shows all across Toronto. The light shows are really amazing. I was amazed to see the lights and decoration at Nathan Phillip Square.

Many parts of Toronto are well decorated on Christmas. Though this year because it is expected to be a green christmas the ethusiams of our young patron here are dampen a little, I am sure once the christmas will come and they will find many Santa's and their Gifts around.

Finally, It is supposed to be a good Christmas. I pray to the god to bring happiness and peace to the whole world. Humanity should get first prefrence over any territory,Caste or religion. I hope we will move towards a better society each new year.

May god bring a lot of happiness and peace to everyone!!!

Wishing you a very Happy New Year 2007 and Happy Christmas.

Will keep posting blogs...

Ciao,

Sam
